Stephen Yake: |

Stephen Yake began his directing career in
1985, after many years as a successful cameraman, lighting
director, and editor at various television studios. In 1990,
he launched his own highly acclaimed company and wore the hat
of producer, as well as director.
He is unique in that he controls the stunning visual style and
emotional performances that go on screen, as well as the nuts
and bolts behind the scenes of the budget. He is a master at
fitting the right elements together like a puzzle to create a
unique and compelling production. His unique brand of
storytelling leaves a distinct and personal signature on all
that he touches. |

Over the course of his career,
Stephen has directed and produced over 400 music videos,
dozens of TV
series and corporate pieces, several documentary projects, and
over 100 national and regional
commercials. His career has taken him all over the globe,
filming in over 35 countries, from Russia's Red
Square, Central and South America, Israel, and Hungary, to
South Africa, England, China, and across the
United States, for clients from Citgo Petroleum and The Magic
Johnson Foundation, to Time/Warner.
Stephen’s creative vision has won him nine Dove Awards, GMA’s
Impact Award, ADDY Awards, ACMA
Awards, and the Houston Film Festival’s Bronze Award, among
his numerous nominations. |
